Under Texas Law (Chapter 87, Civil Practice and Remedies Code) an equine professional is not liable for any injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. By checking the box below, I am effectively signing this document, agreeing to this release, and making entry as a participant. “Participant” includes the rider and their horse(s).
I release the Piper Faust Memorial Barrel Race, Twisted Sisters Productions, LLC, Brazos County Expo, and any/all affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, liabilities, and responsibilities for any and all property damage, personal injury, death, damage or loss of any kind arising out of or in any way related to the event or other event activities, my participation in the event and/or other event activities, my presence at the event, other event activities, in any non-Restricted Area, or in any Restricted Area, or otherwise, whether or not such claims, demands, suits, liabilities and other responsibilities are occasioned by the acts, omissions, negligence or gross negligence of any Released Parties.
I specifically acknowledge that my participation in the activities associated with the event and my presence in non-Restricted and/or Restricted Areas may expose me to substantial risks of property damage, physical injury, and death, and that I have been fully and adequately warned with respect to all such risks. By attending the 2025 Piper Faust Memorial Barrel Race, I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Released Parties liable for illness or injury.
I furthermore understand that any photograph or video including me and/or my horse(s) is the sole property of the Piper Faust Memorial Barrel Race and Twisted Sisters Productions.
